Matt Wisniewski.

Every day I discover more and more beautiful things. It’s enough to drive one mad. I have such a desire to do everything, my head is bursting with it.”

I was a kaleidoscope.

“Bodies have their own light which they consume to live: they burn, they are not lit from the outside.”

Sentimental heart.

I'm a sentimental soul, forever collecting and treasuring tokens from days out and trips to and fro. The newest edition is the locket I mentioned here. Today through a lot of trial, error and referring to the lovely Foxtail and Fern, I decided on immortalising my favourite picture of my mother as a child.
I was influenced hugely by the artwork of Louise Richardson, please take a look, it's too lovely for words.

Something vague.

These are a few of my favourites off the roll of film we received developed today. They're a little soft and make my eyes a bit fuzzy but overall I love them. I'm terribly excited about the prospect of taking more pictures and will be drawing inspiration from these AE-1 users: Siri and Mary.

Approximate sunlight.

“Sometimes when I look at you, I feel I’m gazing at a distant star.
It’s dazzling, but the light is from tens of thousands of years ago.
Maybe the star doesn’t even exist any more. Yet sometimes that light seems more real to me than anything.

Bees.

Last weekend I went on a merry jaunt up to Herefordshire to attend a family reunion with some of my favourite people.  We spent the time eating delicious food, wandering around antique fairs and walking on the Malverns, it was absolutely wonderful.  My souvenirs from the trip are the fern edged locket and the 1920’s honey bee clip on earrings, (now fashioned in to collar tips.)
